A disconnect in community for tech savvy consumers
With the rise of popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn we are able to connect with hundreds if not thousands of people no matter their location. But with this virtual connection, there appears to be a real disconnect with ties to the community. According to this study, 67% of tech-immersed consumers don’t feel as close to people in their community as they would like to.
