From painting to additions, new homeowners spent $18 billion on home improvement projects in the past year. Here’s an infographic indicating the popular projects:
During the past year, 1 out of 5 new homeowner took on a remodeling project. Biggest areas of improvement were the kitchen (70%) and landscape (68%). Of these remodeling homeowners, 49% were more likely to tackle an addition, while 43% were more likely to have remodeled a bathroom. 29% said they were more likely to have replaced windows.
Only 25% were less likely to have not made any home improvements.
