This week, the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) launched a statewide media campaign throughout California. At the heart of the campaign lies a clear message: What begins with a California REALTOR® benefits all Californians. C.A.R. points to the impact homeownership has on our economy and the ripple effect created by buyers and sellers in Real Estate.
What’s the difference between a Real Estate Agent and a Realtor?
One word: ethics. As members of the National Association of REALTORS®, Realtors abide by a strict code of ethics in order to maintain the highest standards in the industry.
Real Estate Agents, on the other hand, simply hold a license to perform Real Estate activities and are not held to the same standards as Realtors.
Although all Realtors are Real Estate Agents, not all Real Estate Agents are Realtors.
